Catherine Kelley Ledford, 85, a resident of Valley, AL passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Joe Ledford, Sr.; nine children, Kermit Kelley, Barbara Currington (Ed); Robert Kelley (Chiela); John Kelley (Kelli); Kenneth Kelley; Patrick Kelley; Debra Waltman (Bill); Brenda Cunningham (Harry) & Lynda Brown; six step-children: Carolyn Kelley (Brian); Sarah Ann Suttles (Scott); Catherine Ledford; John Edward Ledford (Tracey); Linda Lynn Woods (Anthony) & Bobby J. Ledford, Jr.; 26 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Diana Watson and two dear friends, Mildred Foster & Mildred Milner. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Gladys & William Watson, Sr.; & brother, William Watson, Jr.
Mrs. Ledford was born in Ellerslie, GA on January 30, 1931. She received her education in Waverly Hall, GA and attended Andrew College in Cuthbert, GA. She was a school bus driver for the Harris County Board of Education. She was active in the Ellerslie United Methodist Church before moving to Valley where she was an active member of the Riverview First Christian Church.
