Catherine L. McIntyre, 95, of Anderson, passed away on September 2, 2015 at Lindberg Crossing. She was born on June 7, 1920 in Anderson, where she resided all of her life.
Catherine attended Anderson High School.
She retired from Nicholson File in 1978.
She was a charter member of Rolling Wheels Good Sam club. Catherine loved to do many different crafts and do word search puzzles, but most importantly loved to spend time with her family.
Catherine is survived by her loving daughters, Patricia (Gordon) Dowden of Markleville, and Judy (Burl R.) Boston of Anderson; grandchildren, Tammy (James) Rigney, Don (Trish) Boston, and Brian (Lisa) Dowden; 12 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, George Burton and Carolyn Sue (Marvin) Keesling, and many nieces, nephews, and kind neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Raymond A. McIntyre; parents, Harvey and Fern Burton, Sr.; siblings, Alora Jean Fite, Harvey Burton Jr., and Eileen Burkert.
