Catherine L. Fulk, 79, of Mattoon died on October 6, 2021 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon.
Catherine was born on September 8, 1942 in Mattoon to Lauren and Viola (Calhoun) Spencer. She married Charles E. Fulk.
She is survived by four children, Glen (Jan) VanDyke, Everett VanDyke, Catherine (Roger) Endsley, and Larry (Tonya) Turner Jr.; three step children, Ronnie (Dru) Fulk, Johnny Fulk, and Donna Fulk; 24 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; one sister, Dorothea Fetters; and one step-sister, Jerry Hatfill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lauren and Viola Spencer; step father, Wilbert Johnson; three spouse’s, Charles Fulk, Glen VanDyke, and Larry Turner; one brother, Everett Spencer; two step-sisters, Johnna Nadolny and T. Sandra Willison, and one step-brother, Roy Johnson.
Catherine loved to get out of the house and travel around the U.S. with friends and family. She liked going on camping trips and fishing in any nearby ponds or lakes. Catherine loved to turn on her favorite music and to dance along to it; and she enjoyed motorcycle rides and playing cards. Catherine and her husband Chuck really enjoyed going to different flea markets and meeting new people.
