Catherine Mary “Kay” Cooney, 82, of Palm City, Florida, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021.
Kay was born in Albany, New York, on July 21, 1939, to the late Warren and Anna Harding. She was a Parishioner at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Kay was a former yoga instructor in New York, but her lifelong passion was as a devoted wife and mother.
Kay is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, John P. Cooney; son, Kevin Cooney; grandson, Nicholas Dunn; two sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her son, John M. Cooney (Beverly) and Jeanne Cooney Dunn (Brian); grandchild, Tyler Dunn; many loving nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
