Catherine J. Maher Bordnali, 91, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away, Monday, July 8, 2019 at Ozark Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri.
She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on April 21, 1928, daughter of the late James Jarboe and Margaret (Johnson) Jarboe. Catherine spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and homemaker. She was of the Catholic faith.
Catherine is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Benson and husband Darrell of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; granddaughters, Melissa Mason and husband Henry of Memphis, Tennessee and Victoria L. Castleberry and husband Lucas of Alexander, Arkansas; grandson, Joseph A. Jones of Hot Springs, Arkansas; aunt, Veronica B. Jarboe; sisters in law, Frances Maher and Pat Maher, great grand-daughter Raynia Welsh from Memphis, Tennessee; uncle in law, John Petrenke and great grandson, Joseph A. Jones, Jr. of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Jarboe; brothers, James Jarboe, John Jarboe, Dr. Edward Jarboe, and sister, Margaret Jarboe, husband Joseph Maher, brother in law Thomas Maher, sisters in law Jean Maher and Mary Maher.
