Catherine “Irene” Arbaugh, 83, of Westminster, died Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at Golden Living in Westminster. Born February 13, 1932 in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Addie B. Morelock Cook and Carl Easton Cook. She was the wife of John D. Arbaugh for 51 years.
She was an avid gardener, cook and baker. She enjoyed watching all her children and grandchildren playing sports. She was a lover of animals, but her dogs always held a special place in heart. She will be remembered by many by always welcoming everyone in her home known by many as “the farm.” She was retired from Modern Ideal Dry Cleaners, were she worked for 36 years.
In addition to her husband she is survived by daughters Mary Burkholder and son-in-law Doug Burkholder, Janet Mathias, sons Chuck Taylor and daughter –in- law Larie Taylor and Denny Taylor and companion Vickie Packer, grandsons Mat Mathias and Zac Taylor and granddaughters Jacie Mathias-Jones and Megan Taylor (predeceased) and extended family Courtney Wunderlich.
