Catherine “Kitty” was born January 9, 1929 in Keystone County, West Virginia and passed away July 1, 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona. The Daughter of Macintire and Mabel Carr, born in Keystone County West Virginia, she moved to Cortez, Colorado at the age of 16, and married Merrel Deremo of Dove Creek, Colorado on December 12, 1949. They lived in Dove Creek most of their lives and wintered in Arizona where they made their residence in 1997. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed going to the VFW dances with her husband and friends. She is survived by her son Jonnie, daughter in law Linda, granddaughters Rhiannon and Samantha, and Sister Betty.
