Catherine Beatrice Warnock of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on September 17th in Cumming, GA.

She is survived by her parents Cindy and Wyman Warnock of Dacula, Georgia; brothers, Jed Warnock (Lori) of Wahiawa, Hawaii and Casey Warnock (Kelley) of Thomasville, Georgia; nephew, Peyton Warnock; nieces, Ansley, Hailey, and Georgia Warnock; and her grandmother, Barbara Matthews of Athens, Ohio.

She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Susan Proctor of Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia; father-in-law, Rory Proctor of Gainesville, Georgia; and sister-in-law, Lindsey Proctor of Gainesville, Georgia.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Blake Proctor of Gainesville, GA; grandfather, John Harold (Jack) Matthews of Athens, Ohio; and grandparents, Felton and Charlie Mae Warnock of Tarrytown, Georgia; and nephew, Brandon Warnock of Wahiawa, Hawaii.

She carried the namesake of her great grandmother Beatrice Reese. Catherine earned an Advertising Degree from the University of Georgia and a Master’s Degree in teaching multiple/severe disabilities from Georgia State University. Catherine was employed by Gwinnett County Schools for twelve years. She taught special needs students at Lanier Middle School in Sugar Hill, Georgia. Catherine was the Teacher of the Year 2014-2015 at Lanier Middle School. Catherine had a heart of gold and was deeply loved by her family, co-workers, students, their parents, and hundreds of friends. She had a special love in her heart for her special needs students.
