Catherine Ann (Moss) Ziegler of Walker, MN went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 6th after a brief illness.
Cathy was born on Feb. 26th, 1951 in Pontiac, Michigan to John and Marian Moss. As she grew, her love of books and learning flourished and she embarked on a teaching career. She was an elementary teacher in the Twin Cities for many years and more recently assisted children with special needs through Stellher Human Services. She leaves a lasting legacy, touching each student she came in contact with.
Cathy loved the Lord with all her heart, and her faith was the source of her strength and courage. She was an active member at Cornerstone Church in Walker. Cathy also took great joy in being a part of her local Kinship Partners program.
Cathy’s deepest love was for her family, and she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, James Ziegler. She leaves behind her son, Travis (Erin) Follett and granddaughters Audrey and Evelynn, sisters Mary Lee Krahn and Nora (Ken) Krahn, step-daughters Stacy (Mike) Little and Jackie (Josh) Collins, step-grandchildren Haylee Little and Grace, Delaney, and Oliver Collins, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
