Catherine Ann (Dalton) Caruso, 76, of Cromwell, beloved wife of Anthony J. Caruso for fifty-nine years, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Apple Rehab in Cromwell. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (McKnight) Dalton. Catherine lived in Cromwell for over forty years and was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Along with her husband, Catherine was survived by her daughter, Deborah A. Genovese of Middletown; three sisters, Matilda C. Malast and her husband John of Massapequa, NY, Patricia A. Bonanza and her husband Phil of Huntington, NY and Carol R. Smith and her husband Charlie of Manahawkin, NJ; three grandchildren, Annemarie Genovese, Nicholas Genovese and Jon-Michael Genovese; two great grandchildren, Breanna Rivera and Zachary Rivera and many cousins nieces and nephews. Catherine was also predeceased by her daughter, Catherine M. Caruso and her sister and brother-in-law, Ann M. and Thomas Lianza.
