Catherine Ann (Luckenbill) Campbell, 57, of Jordan Hollow Road, Perry Twp., Clarion County, went to be with the Lord at 3:54 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2009 at UPMC Northwest shortly after being diagnosed with cancer. Born March 29, 1952 in Pottsville, Schuylkill County, she was the daughter of the late William and Frances (Joseph) Luckenbill. She was a 1970 graduate of Blue Mountain High School in Orwigsburg. She graduated from United Wesleyan College in Allentown in 1972 with an Associate of Science degree. Cathy was married August 12, 1972 in the Reedsville Bethesda Evangelical Congregational Church to Rev. Charles Campbell , who survives. During her lifetime, she fulfilled many roles as a pastor’s wife, working with her husband for five years at the Wesleyan Church in Penn Run, and for 21 years at New Zion Evangelical Congregational Church in Emlenton. As a teenager, she served as president of the local Christian Endeavor, giving her the opportunity to provide devotionals for a women’s prison ministry. She was also a member of the Rainbow Girls at Cressona Lodge.
