Catherine A. Weaver, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Westminster Village. She was the husband of the late Carlton S. Weaver.
Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Stanley O. and Anna M. (DeLong) Solt. She was a member of Christ U.C.C. Church in Bethlehem for many years where she was a peanut maker. Catherine was very active in the church community where she was a member of the choir under the direction of her late husband Carlton whom also was the church organist for many years. She also volunteered in the church office in her spare time. “We will smile and hold you close to us, because you are forever in our hearts.”
Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Rick Steely, Barbara Powell, Debra Steely and Tim Steely. She was preceded in death by her sisters Carolyn Powell and Jean M. Steely and nephews Craig Steely and Rod Powell.
