Cathalene Taylor, age 83, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Taylor was born on November 2, 1936 in Buena Vista, Georgia the daughter of the late Charlie Victor Dobbs and the late Sarah Elizabeth Parks Dobbs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald L. Taylor.
Survivors include two sons, Scott Taylor of Douglas, GA and Craig Taylor of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren, Nathan Taylor (Anna) of Douglas, GA and Natalie Crews (Collin) of Douglas, GA; three great grandchildren, Carleigh Crews, Ayden Taylor and Brinley Taylor; two sisters, Carolyn Pope of Valdosta, GA and Cornelia Cook (Harold) of Moultrie, GA; two brothers, Dwane Dobbs (Florence) of Crossville, TN and Larry Dobbs (Melody) of Lakeland, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Music will be provided by Terri Bailey singing, “In The Garden” and “Serenaded by Angels” accompanied by Marsha Gilliard on piano. Marsha Gilliard played prelude and postlude music.
