Genoveva (Perez) Cartagena, 74, of Bethlehem, died Monday, November 8, 2010, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Jose A. Cartagena, Sr. who died on 7/7/2006. Born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Anastacio Perez Hernandez and Natividad (Virelles) Perez . Genoveva worked as a seamstress for SureFit, for many years until retiring. She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church. Survivors: sons Edwin Cartagena and his wife Anna Marie of Fairmont, WV and Jose A. Cartagena, Jr. of Bethlehem; siblings Amparo, Sergio and Carlos; 3 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Carlos in 2009.
