On September 28, 2022 former Milford resident Carroll Loeber Hogan, loving mother of 3 children, passed away at the age of 92 in Charlotte, NC.
Carroll was born on September 16, 1930 in Camden, New Jersey daughter of the late Joseph and Loretta (Gaffney) Loeber. She enjoyed being part of a large close-knit family of 9 siblings. She attended Camden Catholic High School and was married and started her family shortly thereafter. In 1963 she moved to Fairfield, and later moved to Milford where she lived for 45 years.
Carroll is survived by her children Patricia (James) Tenney of Naugatuck CT (formerly of Sandy Hook), Daniel (Jane) Hogan of Rock Hill SC (formerly of Glastonbury) and Maureen (Chris) Sloyan of Weddington NC, grandchildren Kevin Hogan, Katie (Jared) White, Brian Tenney, Kelly Tenney, Annie Sloyan, and Jessie Sloyan, great-granddaughters Brielle and Chloe, brother Francis Loeber and sister Anne (Fred) Reeve, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is pre-deceased by her siblings Joseph, Betty (Wilson), Clare (Smith), Catherine, Jack, Bill and Jim Loeber, and her former husband John T. Hogan.
