Carrie Castle Craig, 75 of Kingwood passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Preston Memorial Hospital with her husband by her side.

She was born January 21, 1941, in Tunnelton, a daughter of the late Joseph W. Castle, Jr. and Helen Chedester Castle.

Carrie was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Kingwood, a graduate of Tunnelton High School, Class of 1958 and worked at the Bureau of Public Roads in Washington, DC from July 1958 to November of 1959. She was a member of the Preston Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, a craft worker, an avid quilter and a volunteer for the American Red Cross Blood drives for over 30 years.

Carrie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ralph “Junior” Craig; her daughter, Marsha Craig of Metarie, LA; her son, Steven Craig of Brooklyn, MD; her granddaughter, Carrie Lusia Storey and husband, Michael of La Place, LA; two step-great-grandsons, Chase and Connor Storey and a great-granddaughter, Isabella Storey; three sisters, Linda Nine and husband, William of Terra Alta, Donna Phillips and husband, Gary of Tunnelton and Barbara Castle of Kingwood; two brothers, William Castle and wife, Kathy of West Des Moines, IA and John Castle and wife, Tina of Kingwood; a brother-in-law, Terry Leo Craig and wife, Kay of Indianapolis, IN; her aunts, Mary Drury of Rossville, PA, Opal Sperandio of Morgantown and Lula Castle of Tunnelton; her uncle, Harlan Castle and wife, Mary of Rowlesburg; her sister-in-law, Christine Castle of Kalamazoo, MI and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Joseph D. Castle; her in-laws, Everett and Louise Craig and several aunts and uncles; her grandparents, David and Elma Chedester and Joseph W. Castle, Sr. and Carrie Castle.
