Carrie past away on May 2, 2022 surrounded by the love of Kevin Grundwalski, her family, Kevin’s parents, closest girlfriends and her beloved Luna at home in New Hartford, CT.Carrie leaves behind her mother Donna Wilkesman, brother Keith Wilkesman, her nephews Tyler and Travis Wilkesman, grandfather Willard Quimby, her Aunts Diane Quimby, Julie Lapierre-Mills and her husband Walter Mills, cousin Steven Lapierre and his wife Lisa and their sons Hunter and Jack and her second cousins. Carrie was predeceased by her grandmother Nancy Quimby, her great aunt Beverly Mann and her uncle Robert Lapierre who have been spared the heartbreak of Carrie’s passing.Carrie and Kevin had been planning on marrying and starting a family. We are thankful for the love that Kevin and his parents, Deb and Mike Grundwalski have for Carrie and will always be a part of Carrie’s family.Carrie received her Bachelor degree from Southern Connecticut State University in Education and Sociology and her Master of Education from Post University. She also received Yoga Teacher certification, trained in Reiki and excerpt from “Good Karma” describes best how Carrie tried to live her life.“…The Universe isn’t interested in your your heart.
