She attended Muncie Central High school and married her high school sweetheart, Lawrence Turney, Sr. on October 4th 1963.
She worked at the Durham Factory and was a cook in the Sigma Chi Fraternity on the Ball State University campus and was a childcare provider to many children in her home.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 54 years, Lawrence, two sons; Reverend Larry Turney, Jr.
