Carolyn Jean Tietje, 81, of McComb passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center.
Carolyn was born on March 11, 1942 in Findlay, Ohio to the late George and Bernice (Williams) Oldham . She married John William Voland and he preceded her in death in 1984. She then married Vernon Tietje and he preceded her in death in 2018. Carolyn is survived by her children: Sherry Cooper of McComb and Laurie Voland of Columbus, Leesa (Neil) Gerber, Julie Ryan and Scott Tietje, Brian (Debbie) Tietje; grandchildren: Nick, Mikaela, Kadynce, Camden and Chase and her daughter in law Veronica Voland. She was preceded in death by her son: John “Mike” Voland and her brother Kenny Oldham.
Carolyn was avid crocheter and doing adult coloring books. She was a lover of all animals, but especially dogs and her buddy Magnum. Carolyn also enjoyed traveling, especially to Amish Country, Smokey Mountains and to Lake Erie. She was a kind hearted, loving and caring individual, who especially cherished the time she spent with her family.
