Carolyn Sue Sparks Barker, age 70, of Fyrl Street, Clearfield, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020, at her residence.
Born September 14, 1949, in Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Lillian Adkins Sparks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, David R. Barker who died June 29, 2012, and a sister, Donna Jordan.
Carolyn is survived by three sons, Randy (Jennifer) Leadingham Barker of Olympia, Brian Barker, and Timothy (Shazana) Barker, all of Clearfield; one daughter, Kimberly (Elwood) Hamilton of Clearfield, Kentucky; one step son, Paul (Amanda) Barker of Olive Hill; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Other survivors include five brothers, Jerry (Becky) Sparks of Ashland, Wayne (Kim) Sparks of Grayson, Timmy Sparks, Ronnie Sparks, Keith Sparks, all of Cannonsburg; three sisters, Wanda (Ronnie) Branham of Grayson, Mary (Frank) Collins of Ashland, and Kay (Joe) Leggett of Cannonsburg; lifelong friend, Dreama Arthur of Ashland; several nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
