She was born on September 21, 1940 in Wayne County, IN, the daughter of the late Paul & Freda Pauline (Longnecker) Hanning. On May 15, 1965 in Hagerstown, she married Ronald Owens.
Carolyn loved to cook, work in her garden and taking care of her husband and children.
Surviving relatives include husband of 45 years Ronald Owens of Hagerstown, son; Rodney Owens (Julie) of New Lisbon, two daughters; Rhonda Owens of Hagerstown and Rachel Owens of New Lisbon, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
