Carolyn Smith Williams, age 69, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020. She was born August 29, 1951 in Hogansville, Georgia to Doris Morgan and the late Joe Smith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Suzanne Rawls; stepfather, Nick Morgan; and her beloved pet, Bear. Carol is survived by her mother, Doris Morgan; her son Michael Williams and wife Trina; grandchildren, Reese, Lauren (Jonathan), and Austin; great-grandchildren, Rhett and Emmie; son Mitch Williams and his wife Shannon; grandchildren, Megan, Bailey, and Mallory; sisters, Angie (Ray) Hand, Gail (Ken) Mitchell, Pat (Buddy) Gates, and Paula Todd; brother, Doug Morgan; brother-in-law, Jimmy Rawls; special friend, Terry Wiggins; best friend, Brenda Amos; and numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was a hairdresser for ove 40 years and enjoyed every minute of it. She enjoyed crafts and loved being with her family. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church of Carrollton. She was a bright light in our family, and we will miss her tremendously. She served in the Air Force for four years. Carol had a personality that could light up a room.
