Carolyn S. Phillips, 68, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at her home. She was born October 9, 1952, in Lafayette, to the late William and Mary (Coomey) Lester.
Carolyn was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. She was a tax preparer for H&R Block for over 40 years. Carolyn had attended St. Ann Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and her grandchildren.
Surviving is her daughter Michelle A. Phillips of Lafayette, grandchildren, Britney Rushing, Mikayla Young, Mya Seay, Myka, Erin, Ella, Adrienne, Renea and Dylan Phillips as well as a great grandsons Jaxson and Kade Rushing-Cox and Marius Suter. Also surviving is her brother William P. (Laura) Lester of Fowler.
Carolyn was preceded in death by children Christopher J., Brian W. and Carrie M. Phillips.
