Mrs. Carolyn Patterson, age 75, of Lanett, AL passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Arbor Springs Health and Rehab. Center in Opelika, Al.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by her six children, Danny Patterson, Gary (Suzy) Patterson, Deborah (Greg) Brock-Sneed, Steve Patterson, Mike (Michelle) Patterson, and Tim (Miranda) Patterson; her twenty grandchildren, Patrick and Nicholas D. Patterson, Brandon, Blair, Chris, and Jake Patterson, Richard and Chloe Novak, Tyler and Tatum Brock, Alexis Sneed, Michael and Nicholas L. Patterson, Allyssa, Tia, Teagan, and Tatum Patterson, Mara and Gunner Patterson; her two great grandchildren, Wynter and Everly Patterson; her two sisters, JoAnn Houser and Jean Baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Yancey G. Patterson; her son, Timothy Patterson; six brothers, Bill Messer, Jim Messer, Jerry Messer, Denny Baker, Mike Baker, and Randy Baker; her sister, Jackie Propst.
Mrs. Patterson was born on November 17, 1941 in Gastonia, NC. She was of the Baptist faith. She had many interests, among those were sewing, quilting, shopping, and spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife and mother of seven who loved the Lord, her grandchildren, and life.
