Carolyn Ruth Young, age 79, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Young was born on August 8, 1941 in Bacon County, Georgia the daughter of the late Otis Lee & Lucille Melton Aldridge.
Mrs. Young was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Wanda Porter of Douglas, GA, Sherry Desrochers (David) of Morrisville, Vermont and, Linda Phillips of Douglas, GA; son, Ray Young (Penny) of Douglas, GA; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a special great granddaughter, Elizabeth Peters; sister, Ann Streat (Roy) of Nicholls, GA; several nieces and nephews.
