Mrs. Carolyn R. Whaley, age 76, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 at her residence. She was born on June 22nd, 1945 in Langdale, Alabama to the late Colon and Frances Roberts.
Mrs. Whaley is survived by her children, Penny (Dewey) Hood, Cathy (Anita) Whaley-Steele, and Bubba (Kenneth) Whaley; grandchildren, Nicole (Matthew) Gilbert, Rebecca (Trent) Butler, Jason (Leslie) Hood, and Kristine (Jacob) Duffie; great grandchildren, Ryder, Jordan, Terry, Taylor, Colt, Hailie, Jason, Jr., Logan, Wesley, Bynton, Barren, Bentley, Junior, Jonathan, and C.J.; brother, Billy Ward.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Garry C. Whaley.
Mrs. Whaley enjoyed riding motorcycles, going to estate sales, and buying purses. She loved quilting, and would make them for hospice when she was a volunteer for them. She loved her family and will be dearly missed.
