Carolyn Pearce Perry, 82, of Zebulon passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023 with her loving husband by her side. She was born May 25,1940 in Franklin County to the late Gideon Russell and Mae Rue Bachelor Pearce. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Russell Pearce of Lexington and Welton Lawrence Pearce Sr. of Zebulon.
Carolyn was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She spent the majority of her work life as an Optometric Assistant working for Dr. Perry Grogan in Zebulon for 30 years until his retirement. She went on to work at Eye Care Associates and the Knightdale Eye Care Center.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bobby Glenn Perry, daughter, Linda Carol of Zebulon, sisters, Chloe Mae Pearce of Knightdale and Margaret Ann Pearce O’Neal (Robert) also of Zebulon and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, along with many dear friends.
