Mrs. Carolyn Harmon French, age 87, of Lanett, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Ridgeview at Meadowbrook in Birmingham, after a short illness.
Mrs. French was born in Lanett, Alabama to the late, Leona and Jesse Harmon on October 15, 1927. She graduated from Lanett High School. She worked at J.C. Penney’s, Kesslers, and West Point Pepperell.
She was preceded in death by her sisters; Betty and Beverly; brothers, Bryce and Buddy; son, Phillip; son-in-law, Tye Fields.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, William H. French; daughters, Janice (Rick) Skinner, Birmingham, Nancy Fields, Columbus, GA., Jane (Rick) Telhiard, Mobile, AL.; grandchildren, Jacob (Cheryl) Skinner, Tampa, FL., Jessica (Joel) Snead, Birmingham, Nicole Telhiard, Mobile, Jeremy Telhiard, Mobile, Trey Fields, Columbus, GA., Caitlyn Fields, Birmingham; great grandchildren, Malea and Aubrey Skinner, Lily Snead; host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
