Carolyn Moretz Farrell, 77, of Twin Lakes Community passed away peacefully at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Sunday, December 18, 2016.
A native of Watauga County, Carolyn was the wife of the late Thomas L. Farrell and the daughter of Blaine Moretz and Marie Lookabill Moretz, both deceased.
She retired from AT&T with 33 years of service. Carolyn was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Boone and more recently at Macedonia Lutheran Church in Burlington.
Survivors include two sisters, Wanda Moore of Graham and Martha Ann Moretz of Boone; two brothers, Austin Moretz and wife, Geraldine of Lenoir and Leon Moretz and wife, Kay of Mount Holly.
A committal service will follow at Graham Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank the staff at Twin Lakes Community for their support and kindness.
