ROWLEY – Carolyn M. (Thornton) Corcoran passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 14, surrounded by her loving family.
Carolyn was born on July 29, 1945, to John and Gertrude (Silver) Thornton. Born in Lynn and raised in Saugus, Carolyn was educated in the Saugus Public Schools and a member of the Saugus High School class of 1963. Carolyn continued her education at the Chandler School for Women in Boston, then spent time working for Eastern Airlines before settling down to raise a family.
Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.
