Carolyn Anderson Johnson East, age 54, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away on February 20, 2021. She was born June 14, 1966, to Clyde N. Anderson and Frances N. Anderson in Marlinton, West Virginia.
She moved with her family to Florida at age 7 and was raised in Palm City, Florida. Carolyn was the most caring and unselfish person and could do anything to help her family and friends. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. She spent most of her time with them, visiting them, and taking family vacations. She was a person that could talk to you for hours and share lots of laughs. She was an extremely fun person to be around. She was so funny and enjoyed laughing and joking around. She knew how to have fun, even with her many illnesses throughout her lifetime.
She was the best Mom, Nannie, Memaw, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her father, Clyde Anderson; mother, Frances Anderson; stepfather, Keith McLaughlin; and husbands, David Johnson and Kenneth “Bubba” East.
She is survived by her children, Doug Johnson, Chip Johnson (Chasity), Jesse East (Casey), and Caitlin East (Brandon); sisters, Flossie Meek (Bryan), Donna Wiseman, and Heidi Cason (Eddie); brother, Clyde “Monty” Anderson (Catherine); ten grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
