Carolyn “Janie” Corwin, 70, of Anderson, passed away on February 5, 2014 at the Meadowbrooke Rehab Center & Suites Anderson, IN. She was born on March 7, 1943 in Anderson, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson. Carolyn graduated from St. Mary’s H.S. She was employed as the Noon Supervisor for Anderson High School.
She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Carolyn is survived by her children, Mark Kelly Shelton of KY, Patricia Angeles of Anderson, IN, Donald Humphries of Anderson, IN and Rebecca Chris Smith of Anderson, IN; stepchildren, Niki Charles Alexander and Kristen Corwin both of FL.; grandchildren, Billydean Shelton, Joshua Shelton, William Humphries, Keli Humphries, Brittany Condon, Ryan Humphries and Chloe Smith; step-grandson, Byron Alexander; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Rosemary McCarel; special friends, Carol Lee Curry, Michael Curry and Jennifer Curry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Corwin; father, Charles Faux; mother, Dorothy Faux; brothers, Richard Faux and Edward Faux.
