She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Draper; one brother, William Davis Harper Jr; and grandparents, Henry and Bessie White.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Cassandra (Austin) Lynum, Stephanie Tammy Harper, Jamar (Eric) and Tamika Harper of Decatur; Siblings, Minnie (Lewis) Teague of Huntsville, Bessie Clemons of Decatur, Lucille Harper of Decatur, Barbara (Edward) Jackson of Decatur, Angie Smith of Lexington, KY, Clinot (Barbara) Harper of Dayton, OH, Leonard (Dianne) Harper of Arkansas, Greg Harper of Des Moines, IO, Shelia Acklin of Decatur and Wanda Harper of Decatur; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews,other relatives and friends.
