Carolyn Faye Murgaw, 82, of Pendleton, passed away on December 31, 2012 at Community Hospital, Anderson.
She was born on August 3, 1930 in Rockport, Kentucky and resided most of her life in Grant/Madison County. She was a homemaker who enjoyed flower gardening as well as camping and fishing in Minnesota with family and friends.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Peggy Wells, Donna Richard Gray, Rick Carolyn Murgaw, Daniel Kathy Murgaw III, Rita Walt Fields, Kevin Cathy Murgaw, brothers, Jimmy Charlene Smith and Roger Nancy Smith, 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sons, Lonnie Rock and Bill Rock, husband, Daniel J. Murgaw Jr., brother, Ray Smith Jr., sister, Catherine Davis, sister, Kay Casteel, mother, Clara Bratcher Smith, father, Ray Smith and granddaughter, Stacey Rock.
