Carson, Carolyn Aldrich
Carolyn Aldrich Carson passed away at La Vida Llena in Albuquerque, NM on November 13, 2016 surrounded by her children. She was 94 years old. Carolyn was born in Aiken, SC and grew up in Anderson, SC. She graduated from Anderson Girls High School in 1939 and attended Anderson Baptist College. She and her late husband, Col. Charles R. Carson Sr. were high school sweethearts and were married for 62 years. They had 30 wonderful years in the Air Force traveling over the USA and Europe. They retired in Albuquerque, after having been stationed there from 1948 – 1951, and then again in 1965. Over the years, Carolyn was a Sunday School Teacher, Cub Scout Den Mother, Girl Scout Leader, and Teen Town Director at RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk, England.
