Caroline Hubbard Kleinstuck died on May 8, 2014. Carolly was born April 8, 1925, to the late Carl Hubbard and Mary Broughton Kleinstuck in Kalamazoo, MI. She was married in 1951 to Louis August Gluek, Jr. Carolly attended State High, Kalamazoo, and graduated from Walnut Hill, Natick, MA, and Smith College, North Hampton, MA. Besides Kalamazoo, Louis and Carolly lived in Paoli, PA, Sudbury, MA, Highland Park IL, and Deerfield, IL. After Louis’s death in 1981, Carolly returned to her hometown of Kalamazoo.

She was a sustaining member of the Jr. League of Kalamazoo and an honorary member of the Service Club. She was on the board of the Children’s Home, Lake Farm. She was made an honorary member of the Child Guidance Clinic for her work on the building program. She was also a member of the Women’s Club of Highland Park, IL.

Carolly was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her sister, Mary Ann Kleinstuck Humphrey.

Carolly is survived by her children, Louis A. Gluek III Sue of Munster, IN, Greta Porter Jud of Gibsonia, PA and Carl Hubbard Gluek Caroline of Strongsville, OH; eight grandchildren, Katie Franks Zak, Jennifer Gluek, Margaret Gluek, Judson Porter Sarah, Jamie Porter Hannah, Christopher Porter, Jessica Gluek, Gus Gluek; three great-grandchildren, Milo Franks, Lourdes Caroline Franks, Judson Porter IV; and her sister’s children. Carolly was an engaged mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who emphasized the value of education with her family. She enjoyed traveling around the world, taking all of her grandchildren on international trips.
