She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 24, 1917, to the late Martha and Charles Kriewald. Caroline was the oldest, lifelong, charter member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was very active. She taught Sunday school for 10 years, was active in the Ladies Aid Society, assisted with the monthly newsletter, and attended many church activities. Caroline’s family was first and foremost in her life along with her faith and church.
