Carole Marie (Ferrari) Lawson, 85, of Cromwell, beloved wife of John W. Lawson, Jr. for sixty-three years, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Julius J. and Laura (Michaud) Ferrari, Sr.
Carole lived in Cromwell most of her life. She graduated Bryant College and was a high school English teacher. She also worked at Trinity College for thirty years.
Along with her husband, Carole is survived by two daughters, Laura P. Lawton and her husband Peter of Cromwell and Regina A. Villard and her husband Derrick of Cromwell and four grandchildren, Danielle Lawton, Andrew Lawton and his wife Nicole, Derrick Villard, Jr. and Mya Villard.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Julius J. Ferrari, Jr. and Edward Ferrari.
