Carole Jean Monville, age 79 of Wisconsin Rapids passed away Friday July 30, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center.
Carole was born February 15, 1942 to Adolph (Puffy) and Margaret (Bowers) Nygard in Ontonagon, Michigan. Carole attended school in Ontonagon, graduating with the class of 1960. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, George Monville on July 9, 1960. They celebrated 60 years together. Carole was the Ontonagon treasurer for many years before moving to Wisconsin Rapids. Carole enjoyed baking, lunch with friends, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Lady’s Elk’s Club.
She was a wonderful mother to Michael Monville, Jeffrey (Tamara) Monville, Ann (Brian) Rogers, and an amazing grandma to Justin (Amanda) Rogers, Amanda (Brandon) Ziolkowski, Brandon (Brooke) Monville, and Mason and Carson Monville; great grandchildren: Sophia Rogers, Parker Rogers, Maggie Ziolkowski, Maddie Monville, baby boy Rogers due in October and baby girl Ziolkowski due in November; sister: Beverly Lotspaih, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband George; parents: Adolph and Margaret; mother and father in law: Elizabeth and George; son: Michael, and many other brothers and sisters in law and nieces and nephews.
