Carol Lee (Rasmussen) Grosse, 74, of Rocky Hill, passed away on Monday, March 24th at Hartford Hospital. Born in Ventura, CA, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Violet (Evans) Rasmussen. Carol lived in Rocky Hill for over twenty five years. She was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict serving in the United States Air Force. Carol had a lifelong passion for roses and could grow them anywhere. She was an avid baseball fan cheering for both the Dodgers and Mets. Carol was also passionate about bowling and karaoke, loved hot air ballooning, but most of all had a great love of family, placing them above everything else. She is survived by three children, Denise Grosse of Rocky Hill, Kevin Grosse and his wife, Jennifer of Rocky Hill and Adrienne Stanford and her husband, William of Farmington; and seven grandchildren, Thomas Joseph, Madison, Connor, Logan, Leah, Emily and William. Along with her parents, Carol was predeceased by her brother, Clifford Rasmussen and sister, Shirley Terry.
