Carol May Campbell, 76, of Boise passed away Monday, June 8, 2015.
Carol was born on May 4, 1939, to Chris and Mabel (Tollefson) Charon, in Lawton, North Dakota. When she was 2, she moved with her family to Idaho. She graduated from Boise High School in 1957 and married Leo Campbell, the love of her life, on September 30, 1957.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and had many lifelong friends. Carol loved to play games, and in her later years, spent many hours playing cards with her sister Verlain and her cousins. She also loved to make trips to the casinos in Jackpot and was able to make one last trip for her birthday this year.
She had a strong faith and trust in God, knew that this life was only temporary, and was strengthened and comforted by her hope of eternal life and being reunited with her loved ones.
Carol leaves behind her children, Linda (Wayne) Anderson, and Dan (Terry) Campbell; grandchildren, Amy (Mike) Shriner, Crystal (Ryan) Kennedy, Shelby (Jeremy) Koehler, Chelsey (Jason) Coon, Renae Monzo, and Jason Campbell; and great grandchildren, Tyler Anderson, Jeremiah Kennedy, Bentley Koehler, and Dannie and Avery Monzo; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Verlain (2013); and her husband, Leo (2013).
The family would like to thank the staff at Overland Court Senior Living Center and Complete Hospice Care of Boise for the love and care they provided to her in her last days.
