     Carol Louise Scott Kinnaman, 76, a resident of Gooding, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls.

     Carol Louise Scott was born on February 6, 1944 in Goshen, Indiana, to Eugene F. Scott and Mary F. Burkhardt Scott.  She attended school in Middlebury, Indiana for the majority of her school career, graduating with honors from Warsaw High School in 1962.

     Carol spent many years working in various industries, including farming, manufacturing, education, clothing manufacturing, music instruction, and as a professional musician.  She also owned a sewing business where she created numerous beautiful wedding, prom, and fiesta dresses as well as performing custom tailoring for the local department store.

     In the mid-1980s, Carol returned to school at the College of Southern Idaho and Lewis Clark State College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 1989.

     Music was a central focus of her life and she devoted countless hours to playing and singing.

     Carol was preceded in death by both parents; and her older sister – Mary Esther Poynter.

     She is survived by: son – Eric (Ronda) Kinnaman of Wendell, Idaho; daughters – Stephanie Trent of Gooding, Idaho and Colleen (Robert Idovich) Wells of Cass Lake Minnesota; seven grandchildren – William Trent Jr., Matthew Trent, Shiloh Trent, Rebecca Kinnaman, Perrin Kinnaman, Edwin Connell, and Bryanna Connell; and sister – Colleen Leming of Aurora, Colorado.
