Carol L. (Buckley) Walgenbach, 81, of Oglesby, passed away November 16, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Mrs. Walgenbach was born on December 24, 1932 in LaSalle to Theodore and Minnie (Gascoyne) Buckley. She married La Verne Walgenbach on June 24, 1950 in Oglesby. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Peru.
She is survived by her three children, Thomas (Tammie) Walgenbach of rural Oglesby, Carole (Clarence) Wenzel of rural Oglesby and Ida (Douglas) Touchette of Oglesby; 9 grandchildren, Michael Crew, Mark Crew, Katherine Eilers, Carrie Tevis, Christine Wood, Tara Vargas, Douglas Touchette III, Thomas Walgenbach, and Trisha Mangold 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, LeRoy (Judy Buckley of Jonesville and Robert (Shelia) Buckley of Oglesby; two sisters, Alice (Robert) Huber and Charlene (Terry) Golgin of Webster Park. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; 2 sisters, Shirley Rolando and Bernice Gerace; and two brothers, Emil Buckley and Theodore Buckley.
