Carol L. Prohosky, age 78, of Lake Village, Indiana passed away September 22, 2014, at the Jasper County Hospital.
Carol was born in Goodland on March 29, 1936, the daughter of Charles and Katherine (Royce) Jensen. Carol graduated with the Class of 1954 from Goodland High School. She had worked 16 years at Sealy Spring Corporation in Rensselaer and 15 years at Per Pak in Brook. She was a homemaker, enjoying reading, gardening, watching movies and television and helping out on the family farm. On June 22, 1974, in Fair Oaks, Indiana Carol married Norman Prohosky and he survives.
Surviving along with her husband Norman are three children, Steve Scripter of Kentland, Katherine Measaw (Ted Hutchins) of Kentland, and Michael (Marcia) Scripter of Goodland; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Dean (Carol) Jensen of Rochester, Indiana and one sister, Dolores (Jim) Wang of Oxford, Indiana.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, one great-great grandson and two brothers.
