Carol K. Warran, age 72, passed away July 25, 2017, at the Rensselaer Care Center.
She was born in Rensselaer, Indiana on November 13,1944, the daughter of Thomas Laverne and Lula Pearl (Johnson) McAleer. On November 17, 1962, in Rensselaer, Indiana Carol married Ronald C. Warran, Sr. who survives. A homemaker, Carol and Ronald lived in Parr, Indiana for many years. Carol was a member of the Parr Baptist Church where she was involved in the life of the church. She enjoyed gardening and canning, and raising a family. Carol also enjoyed working with her hands, repairing radios and playing online games.
Surviving with her loving husband Ronald are two children, Ron (companion Jo Winton) Warran and Sandra Warran, both of Rensselaer, four grandchildren, Tiffany (Richard) Brumbaugh, Sara Spurgeon, Jonathan Shireley and Shelby (Cameron) Woodruff, one great-granddaughter, Willow Woodruff and her brother, Thomas L. McAleer, Jr., of Monticello, Indiana.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, a son David Warran on November 21, 1999, two sisters and one brother.
