Carol K. Eaton, age 75, of Rensselaer, Indiana passed away at the Rensselaer Care Center on August 13, 2018 . Carol was born in Rensselaer on February 6, 1943, the daughter of Ernest and Edna (Sullivan) Allee.
Carol’s first marriage was to Robert C. Selby who passed away March 11, 2004.
On June 1, 1984 Carol and Lindy Gene Eaton, Sr. were married in Kankakee, Illinois. Lindy preceded Carol in death on June 19, 2003.
A retired healthcare giver, Carol had worked at the Rensselaer Care Center for 25 years and the former Jasper County Hospital for 10 years. She retired from the Rensselaer Care Center in 2005.
Carol was a member of the Faith Christian Tabernacle, Rensselaer, Indiana.
Surviving are two children, Robert Selby of Lafayette, Indiana and Renee (Mark) Frye of Rensselaer; four grandchildren, Bret Selby, Carl Selby, Jennifer Lynch and Karen Kellow; great-grandchildren Byron Williams, Parker Goad, Dilyon Lynch, Felicity Selby, Cassidy Selby and Kyle Selby and her siblings, Joann Cunningham, LaVern “Bud” (Sandy) Allee and Ernest “Pete” Allee all of Rensselaer.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Robert Selby, her second husband Lyndy Eaton Sr., a great-grandson, Kameron Selby and a sister.
