Carol June King, born August 21st, 1953, the daughter of Gay Hazelbaker and Dorsey Maddox Jr., entered into rest on January 6, 2021. She was born in New Madrid, Missouri, and lived most of her life in Anderson.
Carol’s many years of management at Tio’s and Frisch’s allowed her to let her personality shine and touch the lives of many people. She enjoyed camping with her family and friends during the summers.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 29 years, Raymond Scott King; sister, Terry Maddox; three Brothers, Jeff, Matt, and Tom Maddox.
She lives behind four children, Shannon Maddox, Chris and his wife Brandy Maddox, Melanie Greer, Roxie, and her husband Kirk Bartlett; 2 sisters, Tracy Hight and Denise Calendrelli; brother Ron Maddox Sr.; 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a very large campground family from Yogi Bear Campground.
