Carol Jean Nielsen was born on May 23, 1946 at Emmett, Idaho to Jim and Dora Hebert, quietly passed away at home on August 13, 2017. A consummate mother and homemaker, Carol was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She also pursued her passion for Cosmetology and owned and operated “A Cut Above” on Commercial Street in Emmett, Idaho until her retirement in 2004. She was a talented crochet artist and shared her creations with her friends, children and grandchildren. Carol is survived by her loving husband, Kimber Nielsen, two siblings, four children, seventeen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend their gratitude to those who cared for Carol through her illness.
