Carol Jean Carrico, age 81, passed away on March 28th, 2022 from an aortic aneurysm. Carol was born December 5th, 1940, to Marshall Claffey and Evelyn Moffitt Kennedy in Indianapolis IN.
Carol leaves behind two daughters, Lisa Kohlbacher (Tim Bradford) and Debra (Frank) Cerjak of Indianapolis, and 6 grandchildren, Sarah (Dan) Stigleman, Jakob (Ashley) Kohlbacher, Mandi Priest, Marri (Jason) Hampton, Michele (Scott) Summers and Victoria (Jon) Amrozowicz and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents, her beloved stepfather Joseph Kennedy, brothers Michael Claffey and Dan Barker, sisters Nikki Hundley, Nancy Phillips and Phyllis Bobbitt, her son Butch Carrico Jr., son-in-law Philip Kohlbacher and grandsons Daniel Philip Stigleman and Haddon James Hampton.
Carol was a self-employed manicurist for over 35 years. She loved the beach, music, dancing and spending time with family and friends. She was very loving and accepting of everyone she met. She loved people. Carol lived life to the absolute fullest. She ran hard and defied every odd put in front of her. Carol lived with cancer for 11 years and lupus for over 30 years. She was truly a warrior. Her beautiful, vibrant, sassy presence will be missed by all.
