Carol Norman of Grasston passed away peacefully Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Grace Pointe Crossing in Cambridge at the age of 87.
Carol Joan Scheuer was born January 2, 1935 to Raymond and Helen Scheuer in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Carol was a very crafty lady; she enjoyed working with ceramics, free hand drawings, paintings, making cards and sewing over the years. She had one heck of sewing room that Jackie referred to as “Jack’s Sew Shop”.
Over the years, she worked at Pine City Schools in a variety of roles; teacher’s aide, playground attendant and lunchroom assistant. Carol formed many wonderful friendships with the students.
In 2019 she moved to Grace Pointe Crossing in Cambridge and continued to enjoy watching the birds and waving to everyone that passed by her “porch”.
Carol is survived by her husband, Jim Norman of Grasston; children Doug Norman, Sandra Norman (Kenny Stroeing) all of Grasston; granddaughter Jenny (Travis) Smith of Grasston; great-grandchildren Sada Norman, Maverick Norman, Hunter Smith, and Waylon Barnes.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Vicki Skalicky; granddaughter Jackie Norman.
Following the service for Carol the family invites all to join them for lunch at the church.
